Con dos frecuencias semanales Conviasa conecta al sureste venezolano con El Caribe

Maiquetía, July 30, 2025 (Conviasa Press) - Two weekly frequencies on Mondays and Fridays will offer Conviesa from Caracas to Santa Elena de Uairén, with the start of its commercial air operations this Wednesday, July 30.

This was reported by the Vice President of Conviasa, José Gregorio Márquez, during the inauguration of the flight in the Bolívar state.

"We are very happy with this inaugural route that has only the main objective of connecting the entire Venezuelan people in southeast of Bolívar with the Caribbean." He explained that they estimate to transport 168 passengers frequently, "would add 336 weekly passengers and a total of 1344 monthly passengers." This first flight took off from the National Terminal of the Maiquetía Airport, at 07:30 in the morning, stopping in Puerto Ordaz and Canaima, to finally land at the Santa Elena National Airport of Uairén.

In this sense, the authorities of the Bolívar state received this operation carried out with the ATR42 aircraft, including the governor of the entity, Yulisbeth García, who highlighted "today convishes that beautiful proposal that our people has requested, our people, which is to strengthen tourism." He indicated that the ticket office for August 15, date on which regular commercial operations begin, is totally sold, so "there are good promoters, good operators and who more than the people, our people, who believe in the tourist development that this Bolivar State has."
